The A470 is the major road that runs between Treforest and Glyntaff, and the railway station is on the Treforest side. Extending the ATRiuM Virtual Flythrough - University of South Wales
Work has begun to extend the University of South Wales' ATRiuM building at our Cardiff campus. It’s due to open in September 2016. http://www.southwales.ac.uk/new-atrium/ There will be extensive design studio facilities for illustration, advertising, graphic communication, TV and film set design and interior design as well as our fashion courses. Two dance studios, drama rehearsal spaces and a substantial photographic studio, with additional image capture and finishing labs will also be created, as well as new fabrication workshop facilities to support our media, performance and design courses and model making facilities for animation. The building has been designed to provide specialist facilities and space where students can develop their creative work in a professional environment. Open study and practice areas will offer bases for students from all of our Creative Industries courses to work independently or in groups, typifying the collaborative way in which the Creative Industries work.

The University of South Wales open days allow you to explore the campus, meet some of our current students and talk to the academic staff who will be teaching you. University Open Day Top Tips: You should attend an Open Day as soon as possible, ideally before submitting your UCAS application. This is the best way to find out about your chosen course and our great facilities. Plan your day. When you book a place on one of our University Open Days, we will send you a detailed programme around 2-3 weeks before the event. Our programme is structured according to the different courses on offer, to ensure that you get the very best out of your day. There will also be optional campus and accommodation tours available, which you are welcome to attend. Think about the questions you'd like to ask. You will meet lots of staff members and current students on the day, so make sure you make the most out of it by thinking of any questions you'd like to ask in advance. This can be anything from information about your course to where the nearest supermarket is! Think about who you'd like to bring with you. Making the right university choice is really important, so you should maybe consider bringing your parents or a friend for a second opinion.
