How to Prepare for National Guard Basic Training - Recruit Sustainment Program

06:47
How to Prepare for National Guard Basic Training - Recruit Sustainment Program Recruit Sustainment Program (RSP) is a program of the United States Army National Guard designed to introduce new recruits to the fundamentals of the U.S. Army before they leave to Basic Combat Training (BCT) and Advanced Individual Training (AIT). The motto is "Paratus Preliator" (prepared warrior). The program is based on the three traits of combat (Mentally Prepared - Administratively Correct - Physically Fit) and seven traits of character (Loyalty - Duty - Respect - Selfless Service - Honor - Integrity - Personal Courage). And is the best program for recruits trying to learn more about what Basic Training (BCT) will be like. In RSP there are five phases: Red phase (the person's first drill), White phase (from their second drill to the person's drill one month before they ship to BCT), Blue Phase (the person's last drill before they ship to BCT), Green phase (for the recruits who are split-shippers who have completed BCT and have come back to finish their senior year of high school or of college and are waiting to ship to AIT), and Gold phase (they are now soldiers and have completed both BCT and AIT; this is their last drill with RSP before they go to their home unit). While at RSP recruits do various training that will prepare them for BCT. Red, white, blue phase include but are not limited to the 1-1-1 PT test which consists of a 1-mile run, 1 minute for push-ups, and 1 minute for sit-up. Green phase includes but is not limited to the 2-2-2 PT tests which consists of a 2-mile run, 2 minutes for sit-ups, and 2 minutes for push-ups. Generally, RSP recruits undergo an Army Physical Fitness Test at every drill except for those in Gold Phase. Each PT test scores according to the soldier's gender and age. This must be passed before the recruit can ship to BCT. Army Ranger Requirements - How to Become an Army Ranger.

09:40
Army Ranger Requirements - How to Become an Army Ranger. United States Army Rangers serve in designated U.S. Army Ranger units or are graduates from the U.S. Army Ranger School. The term ranger has been in use unofficially in a military context since the early 17th century. The first military company officially commissioned as rangers were English soldiers fighting in King Philip's War (1676) and from there the term came into common official use in the French and Indian Wars. There have been American military companies officially called Rangers since the American Revolution. The 75th Ranger Regiment is an elite airborne light infantry combat formation within the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC). The six battalions of the modern Rangers have been deployed in wars in Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq, and saw action in several conflicts, such as those in Panama and Grenada. The Ranger Regiment traces its lineage to three of six battalions raised in WWII, and to the 5307th Composite Unit (Provisional)—known as "Merrill's Marauders", and then reflagged as the 475th Infantry, then later as the 75th Infantry. The Ranger Training Brigade (RTB)—headquartered at Fort Benning—is an organization under the U.S. Army's Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and is separate from the 75th Ranger Regiment. It has been in service in various forms since World War II. The Ranger Training Brigade administrates Ranger School, the satisfactory completion of which is required to become Ranger qualified and to wear the Ranger Tab. Welcome to the United States Marine Corps School of Infantry

17:24
Welcome to the United States Marine Corps School of Infantry. The School of Infantry (SOI) is the second stage of initial military training for enlisted United States Marines after Recruit Training. Since the initial training pipeline is divided between coasts, Marines from areas east of the Mississippi River usually graduate from MCRD Parris Island and move on to SOI at SOI East (located at Camp Geiger, a satellite facility of Camp Lejeune in North Carolina), while those from the western half of the nation attend MCRD San Diego and move on to SOI West at the Camp San Onofre area of Camp Pendleton in California. Female Marines are an exception, all of whom go through MCRD Parris Island and SOI East. The School of Infantry's training mission ensures "Every Marine is, first and foremost, a Rifleman". At SOI, Marines with the Military Occupational Specialty of infantry (0300 occupational field) are trained at the Infantry Training Battalion (ITB), while all non-infantry Marines are trained in basic infantry and combat skills at the Marine Combat Training Battalion (MCT Bn). SOI marks a transition in the professional training of entry-level students from basically trained Marines to combat-ready Marines. The Navy SEAL Training Program: The Start of Hell Week

20:16
The Navy SEAL Training Program: The Start of Hell Week First Phase, the basic conditioning phase, is seven weeks long and develops the class in physical training, water competency and mental tenacity while continuing to build teamwork. Each week, the class is expected to do more running, swimming and calisthenics than the week before, and each man's performance is measured by a four-mile timed run, a timed obstacle course, and a two-mile timed swim. In addition to physical training, the class also learns how to conduct hydrographic survey operations. Because of its particularly challenging requirements, many candidates begin questioning their decision to come to BUD/S during First Phase, with a significant number deciding to Drop on Request (DOR). Historically, candidates who have composite PST scores below 800 are three times more likely to succeed than the average student. Most importantly, candidates who have made a full commitment to their goal of becoming a SEAL and those who decide ahead of time that quitting is not an option, regardless of how challenging the training becomes, dramatically increase their chances. The fourth week of training is known as Hell Week. In this grueling five-and-a-half day stretch, each candidate sleeps only about four total hours but runs more than 200 miles and does physical training for more than 20 hours per day. Successful completion of Hell Week truly defines those candidates who have the commitment and dedication required of a SEAL. Hell Week is the ultimate test of a man's will and the class's teamwork. US Air Force Pararescue training - Pararescue Indoctrination Course The PJ/CRO Indoc is a nine week course conducted by the 350th Battlefield Airmen (BA) Training Squadron, BA Training Group, 37th Training Wing, AETC. Pararescue trainees are required to pass the Pararescue Indoctrination Course at Lackland AFB, commonly referred to as "indoc". Following that is a long string of courses including Combat Dive School, Army Airborne, National Registry for Paramedic, Survival (SERE), and Military Free-fall Parachutist. Upon completing the aforementioned, a pararescue trainee is required to then complete the Pararescue Apprentice Course, which combines all the prior skills and adds a few more. Once a Pararescueman has completed the pipeline, he is assigned to a Rescue or Special Tactics team where he will receive informal on-the-job training. United States Marine Corps School of Infantry East - US Marines Training

26:41
United States Marine Corps School of Infantry East - US Marines Training The School of Infantry (SOI) is the second stage of initial military training for enlisted United States Marines after Recruit Training.
