I don't have an Epiphone Casino, so this is as close as I could get.

Been a while since I've done one of these, hasn't it? I decided back in late October/early November that I was really going to try and record this one. I chose it in part because I just couldn't stop listening to it, and also because it would be a serious challenge (which it was). I think I ended up with a good product, even if the camera angle does kinda make it look like my neck is skewed off to one side. This video also marks the public debut of my gorgeous new Rickenbacker 4003s. Enjoy looking at it (I sure do)! And in general, enjoy!

Well, after 6 months and 2 DAW switches, I've finally finished a new multitrack recording. Thanks to everyone for all the subs, submarines, and sub sandwiches. Next up will be "You Told Me."

My first Stones cover, done in a rather strange fashion: the drums were recorded almost a year ago during the sessions for "Presenting...Julian Bailinson," and all the other tracks were recorded in a 4-hour marathon session on the night of December 28-29. Somehow, it still turned out fairly cohesive-sounding.

The perfect partner for my Patreon announcement video. This is by far my fastest-produced multitrack recording, taking about 12 hours from the first track to the final master. As such, the vocals are very raw (that means bad). The lead is one performance on the first take. There were some technical glitches during the vocal recordings, but just think of it as "authentic digital crackle." Y'know, like vinyl, but without the charm. I might re-master it at some point to try and make it sound a little bigger and less...flat. One of my favorite Beatles psychedelic songs. The video isn't great, but it's the best I can do with my budget ($0) and equipment. New! Clicky things! Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/crkmoorpark/?fref=ts Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/ClassicRockKid?alert=2

Taking a cool song and reimagining it as it might have sounded if recorded by a Garage-Punk band 50 years prior to its original release. They've been raising more and more every year, and more power to them! They're doing a great thing for a great cause. Unfortunately, this is going up too late for donations for this year's charity event, but I encourage everyone to donate next year and support Vinesauce!

A new video format, which is actually an old video format. The first multitrack cover I uploaded to this channel was recorded live in front of the camera. What you see is what you hear, massive slowdowns and all. This time around, however, I recorded it with actual microphones and did all my normal production work to make it into some (hopefully) garage-y goodness. I didn't have the appropriate harmonica for this one, but hopefully everything else makes up for it.

I realized that I haven't done a Byrds cover in about 4 years, despite the fact that they're on of my favorite artists of all time. So, have a classic!

Classic mid-60s Dylan.

Kind of an older Red Vox number at this point; I promise I'll do something from Another Light at some point. As it is, I didn't change the structure of this song much. Just took another one of Vinny's awesome New Wave-y songs and made it more Folkie Jangle Pop.

It's in the same key as the album version, but runs about the same tempo as the slowed-down version in the movie. Thank you for 497 subs (except for that one guy)! Clicky things! https://www.patreon.com/ClassicRockKid https://www.facebook.com/crkmoorpark/ https://twitter.com/CRKMoorpark

About time I did some Donovan, eh? Here's my take on this psychedelic classic, drowning in fuzzed-out guitars and accompanied by a lot of flashing colors to make up for my lack of camerawork skills. This is also my first recording to use an Omni Master stage, which will hopefully allow it sound pretty good even when it's not on headphones. The colors, man...

First and foremost, thank you to everybody who has subscribed, be it for 6 years or 6 days; it means a lot to me that people like what I put out enough to follow and wait patiently for more. That being said, here's one that I just suddenly wanted to record a couple weeks ago, featuring a nonplussed drummer relegated to bongos due to the shooting schedule.

We're now at two Bowie songs in a row (next video is unlikely to be more Bowie, but there will be more in the not-too-distant future). Riding high off the success of The Jean Genie, I decided it was finally time to finish this cover which I had started way back. The original tracks are over a year old, with the guitars, bass, and drums being recorded in late August/early September of 2017. I finally sat down and did the organ and vocals and quickly mixed it and put together another "high-concept" video. Hopefully it will prove to be worthwhile. Who knows? Not me. #DavidBowie #ManWhoSoldTheWorld #Cover #Bowie

Something special for my 100th video; a much-loved Beatles tune featuring an instrument that I recorded after only 2 weeks of lessons. Turned out alright, I think (after many, MANY takes). This whole project also acted as an experiment in making a full video entirely at school, recorded in both my apartment and a practice room (with actually very nice acoustics). I hope everyone enjoys! And once again, thank you for constantly shoving this channel along; if it weren't for all the kind people who watch and comment on my videos, I probably wouldn't have posted this many.
