This is a 4K video of Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. Video captured during the daytime setup of Halloween Horror Nights. Universal Studios is a relatively short drive to Disneyland. Universal Studios is in the northern part of LA, whereas Disneyland is more in the southern part. If you have time to visit both Disneyland and Universal Studios, do it! Although there is much construction in 2018 at the park, you’ll find the live attractions in 2018 are similar. This video was shot in 4K at 30 FPS using an iPhone 8. I also used a stability bar (but no gimbal). In this video, I walk around the park and take the studio backlot tour. It's a quick cut of various attractions you'll find at Universal Studios Hollywood. You'll see glimpses of food areas as well. And a quick clip of animal actors. The best rides and the backlot are here at the park. It’s also right next to Citywalk, here in Los Angeles! Also known as estudios universales in Spanish. Let this walkthrough video guide you.

[4K] Jurassic Park the Ride is now closed for a massive transformation over to Jurassic World Ride. We got to experience Jurassic Park the ride for the final time last week before it goes extinct. An immersive Jurassic World Ride will replace Jurassic Park Ride. The new ride is scheduled to open in 2019 at Universal Studios Hollywood. The ride video was filmed in August 2018. Since the falling jeep wasn't working in the first clip of the video, we've decided to add another footage that we recorded last year to show how it looks like if everything was working properly. As a added bonus, you will also get to see the new Blue raptor meet and greet from Jurassic World at the end of the video.

First of all, you’ll need to decide if you can handle the gore and live action, with bloody dead people jumping out at you. More importantly, make a good decision about whether your tadpoles can handle it. There is a strong recommendation that guests be 13 and up. We saw fully grown frogs jump almost out of their skin and try to escape. If you are a fan of the television show and your froglets are old enough to enjoy the show, then you all can probably handle it. But if blood and guts make you greener than usual, you might want to pass!

In today's episode of Stix Top 6, we fly over to Hollywood, California to check out Universal Studios Hollywood and count down the Top 6 BEST Attractions throughout the park! Twitter - https://twitter.com/SilverStixYT Reddit - https://www.reddit.com/user/SilverStix/ YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/c/SilverStix Universal Studios Hollywood is a film studio and theme park in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles County, California. About 70% of the studio lies within the unincorporated county island known as Universal City while the rest lies within the city limits of Los Angeles, California. It is one of the oldest and most famous Hollywood film studios still in use. Its official marketing headline is "The Entertainment Capital of LA". It was initially created to offer tours of the real Universal Studios sets and is the first of many full-fledged Universal Studios Theme Parks located across the world. Outside the theme park, a new, all-digital facility near the Universal Pictures backlot was built in an effort to merge all of NBCUniversal's West Coast operations into one area. As a result, the current home for KNBC, KVEA and NBC News with Telemundo Los Angeles Bureaus with new digital facility is on the Universal lot formerly occupied by Technicolor SA. Universal City includes hotels Universal Hilton & Towers, the Sheraton Universal Hotel, and Universal CityWalk, which offers a collection of shops, restaurants, an 18-screen Universal Cinema and a seven-story IMAX theater. In 2017, the park hosted 9,056,000 guests, ranking it 15th in the world and 9th among North American parks. Shortly after Music Corporation of America took over Universal Pictures in 1962, accountants suggested a new tour in the studio commissary would increase profits. On July 15, 1964, the modern tour was established to include a series of dressing room walk-through's, peeks at actual production, and later, staged events. This grew over the years into a full-blown theme park. The narrated tram tour (formerly "Glamor Trams") still runs through the studio's active backlot, but the staged events, stunt demonstrations and high-tech rides overshadow the motion-picture production that once lured fans to Universal Studios Hollywood. In 1965, the War Lord Tower opened as one of the first attractions in the theme park. One of the early struggles for Universal was coming up with things for young children to do. The existing small Ma & Pa Kettle Petting Zoo was expanded into the Ark Park. This area encompassed the Mt. Ararat petting zoo with over 200 animals and birds representing 30 species and a Noah's Nursery and a Noah's Love Inn playhouse for children and animals. This was followed by the opening of the Animal Actors' School Stage in 1970. In 1968 the Screen Actors Guild enacted a rule prohibiting visitors from most soundstages. This new rule coupled with more productions being shot on location meant the backlot tram tour could not show visitors much in the way of real movie and television production. Jay Stein, President of the Recreation Division championed the idea of creating exciting experiences for visitors in place of viewing actual production. Later that same year, the Flash Flood set was opened and this first special-effects attraction proved to be a hit. 20,000 gallons of water rushed 200 feet down a narrow Mexican village street, uprooting an old tree and threatening to engulf the tram. The Parting of the Red Sea attraction opened in 1973. In 1974, the Rockslide staged event was added to the Studio Tour. The following year The Land of a Thousand Faces opened on the Upper Lot. In 1979, the Battle of Galactica replaced Rockslide as a staged event on the Studio Tour. The Flintstones Show opened, replacing the Star Trek Adventure. In 1991, E.T. Adventure opened as the park's first "dark ride," an industry term for an attraction that uses ride vehicles to take passengers through an indoor show building. Around the same time, sister park Universal Studios Florida opened, which had its own, similar E.T. attraction. The Florida version was more of a conventional theme park and paved the way for the Hollywood park's evolution. In 1993, Back to the Future: The Ride opened, replacing Battle of Galactica. In 1996, Jurassic Park: The Ride opened. In 1997, two shows were replaced: The Land Before Time show replaced Rocky and Bullwinkle Live; and Totally Nickelodeon replaced the Flintstones Show. Just one year after it opened, the Land Before Time show was replaced with Coke Soak. In 1999, T2-3D: Battle Across Time and a Chicken Run Walkthrough opened on the upper lot. Additionally, Beetlejuice's Rock and Roll Graveyard Revue was closed.

My Universal Studios Hollywood - Full VIP Tour 2018 video is here. This is video about the VIP Tours in Universal Studios Hollywood. The footage you see in this video was filmed on two different occasions. February 5 and February 10, 2018. Because this is a compilation of two different VIP Tours it is very unlikely that you will see everything in this video on your own VIP Tour. This video is leaning towards The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. It is a new and exiting theme park to which in comparison a lot of the other rides just look old and not anymore up to date, therefore I did not mention them in this video. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is a themed area at Universal Studios Hollywood theme park near Los Angeles, California. The area is themed to the Harry Potter media franchise, adapting elements from the film series and novels by J.K. Rowling. The attraction—the second Harry Potter-themed area to exist at a Universal resort—was designed by Universal Creative from an exclusive license with Warner Bros. Entertainment. After the successful debut of a similarly-themed area at Universal Orlando Resort, Universal Parks & Resorts announced the construction of a second Wizarding World of Harry Potter on December 6, 2011. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter officially began operation on April 7, 2016. The VIP ticket is $329 per person regardless of age. With the VIP Pass you can go on any ride unlimited times bypassing the line. The VIP ticket also includes free Valet parking, free breakfast and lunch at a very good restaurant only for VIP Tour Members.

Transformers: The Ride 3D is a 3D dark ride located at Universal Studios Singapore, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Studios Florida. The ride, based on the Transformers film franchise, was designed by Universal Creative, Oceaneering International, and Industrial Light & Magic. Each installation is reported to have cost US$100 million. The dark ride consists of vehicle-mounted motion platforms which follow a 2,000-foot-long (610 m) track. Throughout the ride, screens up to 60 feet (18 m) high project 3D images of various Transformers characters as the Autobots attempt to protect the AllSpark from the Decepticons. Transformers: The Ride has been praised by media around the world with some stating it is one of the best theme park attractions in the world The ride system used on Transformers: The Ride is similar to that used by The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man at Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida, and later at Universal Studios Japan. The ride vehicles, developed by Oceaneering International, are mounted to a track-roaming platform that provides the forward motion to move the vehicle through each show scene. The yaw motor and a stewart platform with six degrees of freedom attaching it to the platform allows the vehicle to move 360 degrees at different angles along the 2,000-foot-long (610 m) track. Each vehicle is fitted with a motor that controls the right side door through which guests board and leave. These vehicles are modeled after an Autobot named Evac and each vehicle accommodates twelve riders. Each row of four riders is restrained by a single lapbar. Queue and pre-show A portion of the queue at Universal Studios Singapore Riders enter the queue from the Sci-Fi City themed area of Universal Studios Singapore,] the Lower Lot at Universal Studios Hollywood or Production Central at Universal Studios Florida. Riders must be at least 122 centimetres (48 in) to ride alone or 102 centimetres (40 in) if they are with an adult. The first portion of the queue is a large collection of switchbacks. The latter part of the queue is themed as a Nonbiological Extraterrestrial Species Treaty (NEST) base. A series of signs and video screens are located within this area. The video screens play briefings from General Morshower, Bumblebee, Ironhide, and Ratchet, who explain that the Decepticons have come to Earth in search of the AllSpark. Optimus Prime concludes the briefing by introducing all of the Autobots that are featured in the ride. Towards the end of the queue, guests are given a pair of 3D glasses. Once guests arrive at the loading station, they are grouped and loaded into a ride vehicle modeled on an Autobot named Evac. Ride AllSpark in the queue for the ride The ride begins with Evac moving out of the loading station and making a turn. The vehicle approaches the first of thirteen 3D high-definition video screens which depicts Ravage grabbing a canister containing the AllSpark. Evac spins 180° to face the second screen on which Bumblebee is fighting Sideways for the AllSpark which ends up in Evac's possession. Evac reverses into one of two elevator shafts which ascend to the second level of the attraction. During the ascent Optimus Prime battles Megatron and Grindor chases Evac who is furiously heading in reverse until Grindor's arm is broken off by a train. Megatron grabs Evac and the two struggle until Megatron breaks a water pipe, which sprays riders with water. Evac enters a dead end pathway before reversing and turning to face another 3D screen, which shows Megatron firing a missile at Evac while continuing to find Optimus. Hot air and fog generate the illusion of an explosion. Evac then heads through the hole in a building which was caused by the explosion Cast Andrew Arrabito - Military Pilar Holland - Sonya Bradley Corey Klemow - Theodore Stallworth Ezra Masters - Sergeant Dees Glenn Morshower - General Morshower Voices Charlie Adler - Starscream Peter Cullen - Optimus Prime Robert Foxworth - Ratchet Jess Harnell - Ironhide Tom Kenny - Wheelie Dustin Leighton - Evac James Remar - Sideswipe Frank Welker - Megatron John DiMaggio - Grindor

100 Years of Universal: The Lot (10 minutes): A behind-the-scenes look at the movie magic created on the famous Universal Studios lot. On March 15, 1915, Carl Laemmle officially opened the gates of Universal City, the world’s first self-contained community dedicated to making movies. According to eyewitness accounts, over 15,000 people were present for Universal City’s opening day ceremonies. At the time of Universal City’s opening, the new municipality had nearly 500 residents. Among them were 75 Indians who lived in tepees on the backlot, western riders, movie “soldiers” and workmen. Although the studio officially opened in 1915, film production on the lot began in 1914. Damon and Pythias, co-starring William Worthington and Herbert Rowlinson, was the first picture completed at Universal City. As movie production at Universal City increased, a steady stream of silent films including westerns, comedies, and action-adventures became Universal’s trademark. Laemmle also began inviting visitors to Universal City to observe his movie making, establishing Universal’s long-standing tradition of welcoming guests to enjoy the behind-the-scenes magic. However, the Universal tour was temporarily halted in the late 1920s, when “talkies” became the norm and producers demanded a set free of visitor noise. A few of Universal’s most notable feature films of these early years include The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1923), The Phantom of the Opera (1925), and All Quiet on the Western Front (1930). All Quiet on the Western Front won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1930. Universal also became well known for its horror films of the early 1930s. These productions included such classics as Dracula, The Mummy,m Frankenstein, and Bride of Frankenstein. In 1936, Carl Laemmle retired from the movie industry and sold Universal to the Standard Capital Company. In the years that immediately followed, the studio relied heavily on Deanna Durbin musicals, Abbott and Costello comedies, and Francis the Talking Mule. When Universal merged with International Pictures in 1946, Leo Spitz and William Goetz from International took over production, and the company became known as Universal-International. The production of Hamlet by Universal-International in association with J. Arthur Rank of England won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1948. In 1950, Universal acquired 140 acres of land adjoining the southern boundary of the studio, increasing the overall size of Universal City to 400 acres. 1952 brought another merger to Universal when Decca Records bought the company. Under the leadership of Milton Rackmil, President of Decca and Universal, and Edward Muhl, production head, some of the notable features of this era included Pillow Talk, Operation Petticoat, To Kill A Mocking Bird, The Glenn Miller Story, and Spartacus. In December 1958, MCA, Inc. purchased the Universal City Studio Lot. MCA’s Revue Television Productions relocated to Universal City, and Universal Pictures then leased back its property from MCA. This arrangement lasted three years until MCA and Universal officially merged in 1962. Jules Stein founded MCA, or the Music Corporation of America, in 1924 as a Chicago-based agency that booked bands into clubs and dance halls. The legacy of MCA was expanded and enriched by Lew Wasserman, who joined the company in 1936, became President in 1946, and over the years built MCA from a leading talent agency into a diversified global leader in the world of entertainment..." ~ http://www.universalstudioslot.com/about-us Spoken: Steven Spielberg - Director, Jurassic Park Michael Mann - Co-Writer/Director, Public Enemies Paul Rudd - Actor, The 40-Year-Old Virgin Peyton Reed - Director, The Break-Up Jeff Pirtle - Director, Archives & Collections NBC Universal Ivan Reitman - Producer, National Lampoon's Animal House Peter Berg - Director/Producer, Battleship Dan Aykroyd - Actor, The Blues Brothers Molly Orr - Studio Tour Guide, Universal Studios Hollywood John Landis - Director, National Lampoon's Animal House Ron Howard - Director, Apollo 13 John Carpenter - Director, The Thing (1982) Phil Alden Robinson - Writer/Director, Field of Dreams Meryl Streep - Actor, Out of Africa Stage 28 - Phantom Stage (Phantom of The Opera - 1924) Theatre ©2012 Universal Studios. Filmed on May 28, 2017. My family and I took the VIP experience at Universal Studios Hollywood. I put together videos to give an overall idea of what the tour consists of. Our tour time started at 8:45am and ended around 3:30pm. We had continental breakfast in the morning, went on the backlot and saw a set of the show The Good Place, before going and taking pics in front of the famous Clock tower from Back to the Future, and then eventually making our way to the Property Department where they have around 5 million props from movies and tv shows. Moving away from the backlot, we went to the lower lot of the theme park where we used our passes to get front of the line on the rides. Afterwards, we went to the upper lot and had lunch in a private area. It was amazing! It was buffet style with a variety of choices. Once we were finished we saw one show and then rode the Minions ride before heading to Hogsmeade and riding Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Our tour guide soon said farewell and we spent the rest of the day on our own time. I highly recommend the tour and would soon love to do it again. We all celebrate the purge every year, now we get to go back in time and understand how it all began. The New Founding Fathers of America developed the inaugural purge in State Island, where all crimes including murder are legal for a 12 hour period. The government seeks your participation and will reward you greatly, that is if you make it. Thanks for watching! Don't forget to 'Like' the video and 'Subscribe' for more Halloween Screams.

This was the famous Universal Studios Hollywood Tram Ride Tour we took in late June 2017. It was a blast, literally at times. Highlights included King Kong 360 3D, the Jaws Shark, Norman Bates coming at us with a knife, a flash flood, earthquake and the Fast & Furious chase. We loved it, especially our 6 year-old son!
