Learn Cartesian Product of Two Sets in the chapter of Relations and Functions. Cartesian Product can be defined between two non empty sets, say P & Q, represented by P cross Q is a set of ordered pair where first member of every order pair is from P & 2nd member from set Q. Let's see an example of Cartesian Product of two Sets .
Say, set A = {1, 2}, Set B = {a,b}
Cartesian Product of two sets A & B is represented by A cross B and is given by, total possible relations between set A & B

Linear Algebra on Khan Academy: Have you ever wondered what the difference is between speed and velocity? Ever try to visualize in four dimensions or six or seven? Linear algebra describes things in two dimensions, but many of the concepts can be extended into three, four or more. Linear algebra implies two dimensional reasoning, however, the concepts covered in linear algebra provide the basis for multi-dimensional representations of mathematical reasoning. Matrices, vectors, vector spaces, transformations, eigenvectors/values all help us to visualize and understand multi dimensional concepts. This is an advanced course normally taken by science or engineering majors after taking at least two semesters of calculus (although calculus really isn't a prereq) so don't confuse this with regular high school algebra.

*Note, in all the computations here, I list the coordinates of the vectors as columns of a matrix, but many textbooks put them in the rows of a matrix instead. How do Cartesian products work with empty sets? Cartesian products are great and all, but we cannot eagerly dive into working with them without making sure we know how to deal with Cartesian products when empty sets are involved. We go over that in today's math lesson!
Recall that the Cartesian product of two sets, A and B, is the set containing all ordered pairs (a, b) where a is in A and b is in B. Then, by definition, A x B is equal to the empty set if A is the empty set, if B is the empty set, or if both A and B are the empty set. It works just like 0. If the empty set is involved in a Cartesian product, then the product is the empty set because there are no elements in the empty set with which to form any ordered pairs.
