Data: whatever we entered into the computer system is known as the data. Data can also be called as raw facts. Data doesn't give any meaning. Information: Information always gives meaning. if we perform some operations on the data it give some results that is information. Information can also be called as processed data. Big data and NoSQL allows us to scale to volumes that are not possible with traditional relational database systems at lower cost and in less time. The cost and size of storage has kept pace with our data requirements; however, transfer rates have not. Big data and NoSQL are architecture to solve this problem by bringing the compute to the data and not the other way around. During this presentation, you will learn what Big Data toolsets are and how they are different from relational database systems, including the Oracle In-Memory Database Option. Beginners are interested with an oracle dba tutorial from kernel training. Oracle Database is referred to as Oracle RDBMS is an object-relational database management system. Users of Oracle databases refer to the server-side memory-structure as the SGA. Visit Us http://kerneltraining.com/oracle-dba/ Email Us: [email protected] Phone: 91 8099 77 6681 In this Youtube you can find a clear description of Oracle DBA 11g, and our presenter has provided full information in this tutorial. You will find a succession of descriptions about the subject in a Power Point presentation, excel sheet presentations, and the kernel training pages are also opened up for better understanding. You can feel free to ask for any doubts when you do attend one free demo session for beginners. Here, is a fine example to learn basics concept, and practical applications. You can learn oracle dba step by step that will be dealt by kernel Training online if you do attend oracle dba tutorial for beginners, and this oracle dba classes will help you learn about several topics such as oracle dba architecture, Oracle dba performance tuning, Oracle dba asm, and our faculty will deliver oracle dba interview videos that will be far more beneficial than the expected. In the process of learning, you can understand clearly oracle dba Linux commands, and also grasp the oracle dba real time scenarios, and in this oracle dba full course, you will be exposed to oracle dba interview questions and answers for experienced professionals and startups. About the Course: Oracle Database is referred to as Oracle RDBMS is an object-relational database management system. Users of Oracle databases refer to the server-side memory-structure as the SGA. The SGA typically holds cache information such as data-buffers, SQL commands, and user information. In addition to storage, the database consists of online redo logs, which hold transactional history. Processes can in turn archive the online redo logs into archive logs, which provide the basis for data recovery and for the physical-standby forms of data replication using Oracle Data Guard. Course Objective: Software installation and the creation of new databases. An in-depth exploration of the database architecture, including memory, process and data structures, and the management of those structures. Specialized facilities intended to maximize performance of enterprise-scale transactional applications, such as the shared SQL and PL/SQL cache, the result cache, the database buffer cache, and other similar components. Management of security policies and procedures, including administration of user accounts, roles, privileges and profiles. Utilization of advanced self-tuning and self-management capabilities, including the use of Oracle-Managed Files, database Advisors and other components of the Management Framework. Performance monitoring, problem troubleshooting, and resolving lock and conflict issues. Using the Oracle Enterprise Manager and SQL interfaces for administration tasks. Control over database support services, including the Database Control, Oracle Net and others. A primer on backup and recovery structures and strategies. Operating system-specific considerations for various platforms, especially Linux and MS Windows Server. How We Teach at kernel Training? It is an Online Course with Instructor led LIVE and Interactive Sessions, Practical Work that involves Practical Hands-on, Lab Assignments, and real-world Case Studies, access to 24×7 Technical Support, a real time project with Kernel Data Center. Course participants will get a verifiable certificate after successful completion of the project work. Every column within a table has to be given what is known as a datatype. A data type is a fairly simple concept when you dissect the word. It is literally the type of data. Why do we use types, though? The biggest benefit is so that Oracle knows how to interpret and work with our data. It also makes the database better at rejecting incorrect data. If we had to concept of a data type, there would be a lot more work involved in forcing data to be of the right format. It would also be harder for us to get the database to treat the data in the correct way. In addition to this, a database can optimize storage and performance for a column if everything is of the same data type. Because of this, each column can only support one data type. There are numerous different data types in Oracle and it helps us if we categorize them. The first types of datatypes we should learn about are: String, Numeric, Temporal Now, there are few more categories we could make, but these are the main ones. We will worry about the other ones another day as I am only introducing the topic. A string data type is anything within quotes. Most databases use single quotes for string data. Inside of the quotes can be any number of characters. What is a character? Think of any letter, number, or symbol you can type. Some people call these letters, numbers, and symbols alphanumeric. Numeric data type includes only numbers. These data types are often used for data that you plan on using for mathematical calculations. Temporal data types are data types that are used for dates and times. Now, each data type is probably going to have some options you'll need to worry about, but one that comes up with every data type is storage. The reason we need to consider storage is because we may end up with millions of rows in a table and the difference between a few bytes for each row will make a huge difference when we look at the whole picture. When a data type gives you the option of size, you will want to a size that will be able to hold what you need, but nothing more. In the upcoming videos we are going to discuss the available data types in more detail. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Support me! http://www.patreon.com/calebcurry Subscribe to my newsletter: http://bit.ly/JoinCCNewsletter Donate!: http://bit.ly/DonateCTVM2. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Additional Links~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ More content: http://CalebCurry.com Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/CalebTheVideoMaker Google+: https://plus.google.com/+CalebTheVideoMaker2 Twitter: http://twitter.com/calebCurry Amazing Web Hosting - http://bit.ly/ccbluehost (The best web hosting for a cheap price!)
