Girl group LAYSHA has been involved in a hidden camera scandal but Netizens are not sympathizing with them.
On August 29th, videos and photos showing members of sexy girl group LAYSHA changing in their dressing room leaked online. Not to mention, the footages have garnered much attention from the public that leader of the group, Goeun, stepped up to clarify the issue. She took her Instagram and wrote,
"I didn't want to get stressed and blow things up so I didn't take any action on all kinds of malicious comments, rumors, and identity thefts. However, the hidden cameras... I can't hold it back anymore.
I don't know when they've set up the tiny cameras in our agency fitting room and my house but I need to get this straight. I'm tired of crying and suffering by myself. It's hard to keep myself together now.
I'm going to take strong action on everything from now on. I'll make sure those who gossip and use me as if it's nothing get sued and punished."
Unfortunately, instead of sympathizing with them, Netizens fire back to the girl group and accuse them to fake the issue for the sake of marketing. People say that it's definitely not impossible for them to leak the footages by themselves in order to gain more popularity and received spotlight.
It was started when Netizens discovered that LAYSHA has actually taken part in a 19+ web drama/reality show, titled, 'I Do It Alone,' with the 'hidden camera' concept. The show has a total of 7 episodes and it includes the "leaked" footages. Seeing this, Netizens believe that the "leaked" videos are intentional so that LAYSHA (or their agency) could promote the show.
What do you think about the issue, people?
