I bought it 2 years ago for $3000 which was a pretty good deal considering my friends and I put over 50,000 miles on it in those 2 years. So when I began filming this video I had a cheap 4 door white car that ran pretty well. Id bought it for $800 and knew it was no prize but it was perfect for driving in a field for 5 minutes then getting blown to bits. Unfortunately one of the guys who works for me decided to take it for "a little spin" just before we were to film the videos last segment. He somehow managed to blow up the engine and I was left with 2 options: I could either scrap the video concept and pay for another day of filming which would be very costly. Or I could blow up the SUV which btw the guy who broke the original car had been driving for over a month. Unfortunately for him the decision was easy, we got his stuff out, through in 13lbs of explosives and a few gallons of fuel and said goodbye to the Montero.

American Spy Caught in Russia Trying to Recruit Secret Service Members

01:13
(Reuters) -- Russia expelled a U.S. diplomat on Tuesday after saying he had been caught red-handed with disguises, special equipment and wads of cash as he tried to recruit a Russian intelligence agent to work for the CIA. Apparently detained in an incongruous-looking blond wig, with props reminiscent of a schoolboy's spy kit, U.S. Embassy Third Secretary Ryan Fogle hardly looked like a Cold War secret agent. But the announcement still came at an awkward time for Washington and Moscow as they try to improve relations and bring the warring sides in Syria together for an international peace conference. Nevertheless, there was little sign that either country wanted to escalate the affair beyond a minimum response. The Russian Foreign Ministry summoned U.S. Ambassador Michael McFaul to discuss... In either case, this large, nuclear-armed country has always been a key player in world politics and that doesn’t look like it’s about to change. It seems appropriate then to take a closer look at this country which spans two continents. Think you know a lot about the Russian bear? Spetsnaz: Inside The Russian SAS - Killing For The Kremlin

48:40
Spetsnaz is the Russian for Special Forces. In this series this highly secretive organisation will be laid bare. Since the mid-seventies the unit has seen active service in Afghanistan, Angola, Bosnia and the crime-ridden streets of Moscow. The films follows some of the different units on operations in Chechnya, Angola and Moscow, as well as their competitive selection process. This film delves inside the domestic counter-terrorism unit ALPHA GROUP, the KGB's foreign commando force, VYMPEL and the special police commandos, OMON. For the first time, our cameras record how new candidates to Spetsnaz units are put through their paces at Balashikha, the joint KGB/Interior Ministry training centre outside Moscow. We will get to know the men and women who aspire to make the transition from regular soldier / policeman to fully-fledged Spetsnaz. We talk to the officers themselves, Spetsnaz veterans, who have the responsibility of converting these ordinary soldiers into the elite of the Russian security services. We learn how, like, James Bond's 'M', the Spetsnaz have developed a whole array of weapons, communications systems, armour and electronics which are made in their own dedicated factories and sold by an international sales network. For the first time, Spetsnaz men tell their secrets including how the ALPHA GROUP and VYMPEL went through a baptism by fire when they seized the Dor-al-Aman Presidential palace in Afghanistan and how a severed head was used to free Soviet diplomats taken hostage in the Lebanese Civil War. Through exclusive access, we reveal secret operations in Angola, Nicaragua, India, Bosnia, Chechnya and even perhaps, Alaska, where they are said to have practised infiltration operations on US soil.

However primary focus of the documentary is on North America, it leaves little doubt that the main object of the Soviet Union was the calculated, continuing, completely extension of Soviet power over the entire globe. About the KGB: The KGB (Russian: Комите́т госуда́рственной безопа́сности / КГБ; translated in English as Committee for State Security), was the main security agency for the Soviet Union from 1954 until its break-up in 1991. Formed in 1954, as a direct successor of such preceding agencies as the Cheka, NKGB, and MGB, the KGB was attached to the Council of Ministers. It was the chief government agency of "union-republican jurisdiction", acting as internal security, intelligence, and secret police. Similar agencies were instated in each of the republics of the Soviet Union aside from Russia and consisted of many ministries, state committees, and state commissions. The KGB was a military service and was governed by army laws and regulations, similar to the Soviet Army. Its main functions were foreign intelligence, counterintelligence, operative-investigatory activities, guarding the State Border of the USSR, guarding the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and the Soviet Government, organization and ensuring of government communications as well as standing up against dissent and anti-Soviet activities. After the dissolution of the USSR, the KGB was split into the Federal Security Service and the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation. While most of the KGB archives remain classified, a few documentary sources are available. KGB Operations in North America | History of the Soviet Secret Service | Documentary | 1981

Trump Lawyer Says Don Jr.’s Russia Meeting Was Secret Service’s Fault - The Ring of Fire

04:31
According to Jay Sekulow, the meeting that took place between Donald Trump, Jr. and a Russian lawyer was actually the fault of the Secret Service.  As Sekulow says, they should have stopped this meeting if they thought it was nefarious.  There’s only one problem with his logic – the Secret Service wasn’t protecting Donald Trump, Jr. at that time and had no say in what he said or did. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.   Link – http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/trump-lawyer-jay-sekulow-blames-secret-service Ring of Fire needs your help! LIKE and SHARE this video or leave a comment to help direct attention to the stories that matter. And SUBSCRIBE to stay connected with Ring of Fire's video content! This past Sunday on ABC's This Week program, Jay Sekulow, who is a member of Donald Trump's legal time, said that it was actually the fault of the US Secret Service that the meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer and a former Russian intelligence official, it was the Secret Service's fault that this meeting ever happened. According to Sekulow, if this meeting was nefarious, the Secret Service absolutely should have just stepped in and put an end to it because, after all, the role of the Secret Service is not just to provide physical protection for those under Secret Service protection, but it is also an investigative unit. They should have absolutely looked at this, said, "Hell no," and not let the meeting happen if it were nefarious. The fact that they didn't step in, according to Sekulow, proves that this meeting was as harmless as can be. It's an interesting argument and I'm sure it's an argument that the Sekulow and the rest of the legal team are prepared to make in court if necessary. But the truth is, at that time, in June 2016 when the meeting took place, Donald Trump Jr. was not under Secret Service protection, which means he did not have to clear any meetings through the Secret Service. He did not have to alert them that things were happening. He did not have to tell them who he was going to be with, where he was going to be, or what he was going to be doing. Do you see the point I'm trying to make here? Donald Trump Jr. did not tell the Secret Service about this meeting because he didn't have to. They weren't protecting him. They didn't know about it. Their only job in June of 2016 with regards to the Trump family was protecting Donald Trump himself. So, Sekulow's argument, his legal argument, falls apart on its face because people aren't willing to look up and see that, oh wait, Trump Jr. wasn't covered by the Secret Service during that time. At least that's what Sekulow is hoping people will do. However, all of the news stories talking about this since then have pointed out that fact. But here is what he is trying to do, and we have seen the Trump administration doing this for the last week, we've seen them doing it for a longer time, but last week it really got put on steroids. They're trying to blame everybody else other than Donald Trump Jr., Kushner, and Manafort for this particular meeting. I mean, towards the end of last week, Donald Trump himself was trying to blame Hillary Clinton for it, saying, "Why does this matter? If they're not going to investigate Hillary, why are they investigating this?" Or, here's another little theory poking around on Fox News and other right-wing websites. This meeting was actually set up by the Democrats in order to take down the Trump administration. Any form of misdirection they can use is what they will go with. It doesn't matter if it's completely absurd because plenty of right-wing news outlets have even said that the Democratic set up conspiracy theory is absolutely absurd. But that's not going to stop them. Right now, they're just throwing the spaghetti at the wall, seeing what's going to stick, what works best with the American public, which one are they going to buy into out of our countless lies about this particular meeting. Because the bottom line is this. This meeting was bad. It makes the Trump administration look bad. It points to possible collusion between the campaign and people from Russia. There is no way to spin it to make Donald Trump Jr., or Jared Kushner, or Paul Manafort, or anyone else look like they were just a simpleton that somehow got duped by an outside source. The Trump administration knows they screwed up and they're using whatever trick, tactic, they have to convince the public that it wasn't their fault.

A Portrait of Stalin: Secret Police

43:41
MONSTER: A PORTRAIT OF STALIN IN BLOOD 1992. This six part series, produced by Alexandre Ivankin at Contact Studio, Moscow, uses never before released films from the Russian archives and personal interviews to tell the true story of the annihilation of approximately 40 million Russians by Stalin. Episode 2: Stalin's Secret Police: Stalin's rise to power is attributed largely to his control of the vast secret police complex, known first as the Cheka and later the NKVD, which became the KGB. At Stalin's direction the secret police becomes the bludgeon with which Stalin enforces his political and personal will, liquidating party rivals, purging the Red Army, and creating the Gulag, massive system of slave labor and liquidation camps. Stalin was born Joseph Dzhugashvili in the Georgian town of Gori in 1879. He was an early activist in the Bolshevik movement, where he first assumed the pseudonym Stalin (which means "man of steel"). He was named General Secretary of the Communist Party in 1922, a post Stalin used to fortify his power base. When Vladimir Lenin died in 1924, a struggle for control broke out hat pitted Stalin against his nemesis, Leon Trotsky, and a host of lesser party figures. Stalin's victory was slow and hard-fought, but by 1927 he had succeeded in having Trotsky expelled from the party. By 1928, Stalin was entrenched as supreme Soviet leader, and he wasted little time in launching a series of national campaigns (the so-called Five-Year Plans) aimed at "collectivizing" the peasantry and turning the USSR into a powerful industrial state. Both campaigns featured murder on a massive scale. The millions of deaths in Stalin's "Gulag Archipelago" (the network of labour camps [gulags] scattered across the length and breath of Russia) were a consequence of Stalin's drive for total control, and his pressing need for convict labour to fuel rapid industrialization. For Stalin, dissident viewpoints represented an unacceptable threat. This was the origin of the "cult of personality" that permeated Soviet politics and culture, depicting Stalin as infallible, almost deity-like. Beginning in 1935, the series of immense internal purges sent millions of party members and ordinary individuals to their deaths, either through summary executions or in the atrocious conditions of the "Gulag Archipelago." Soviet institutions and sectors like the Communist Party, the Army, the NKVD, and scientists and engineers were decimated by these purges. The "Old Bolshevik" elite was targeted in three key "show trials" between 1936 and 1938, in which leaders such as Lev Kamenev, Nikolai Bukharin, and Grigori Zinoviev were accused of conspiring with Trotskyite elements to undermine communism in the USSR. When the "Old Bolsheviks" had been consigned to oblivion, their successors and replacements quickly followed them. The destruction of the officer corps, about 35,000 military officers shot or imprisoned, and, in particular, the execution of the brilliant chief-of-staff Marshal Tukhachevsky, is considered one of the major reasons for the spectacular Nazi successes in the early months of the German invasion in WWII. The impetus to "cleanse" the social body rapidly spilled beyond these elite boundaries, and the greatest impact of the Purge was felt in the wider society. Relatives of those accused and arrested, including wives and children down to the age of twelve, were themselves often condemned under the "counter-terrorism" legislation. With the fall of communism and the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, Soviet scholars like Edvard Radzinsky and Dmitri Volkogonov have published prominent exposés of Stalinist rule, based on newly-opened archives. And the estimates of the death toll arrived at by Robert Conquest and others, long denounced as craven exaggerations, have been shown instead to be, if anything, understated. It's being reported that one of the Russian spies who poisoned Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, was a doctor who'd been personally honoured by President Putin. Investigative website Bellingcat says the Russian agent, who travelled to Salisbury under the alias Alexander Petrov, is actually called Alexander Mishkin. He and his accomplice, who's already been unmasked by the same website, allegedly smeared nerve agent on the door handle of the Skripals' home. Russia: US Secret Service behind breach of Idlib de-escalation zone ceasefire – MoD

03:51
A large-scale offensive on the positions of Syrian Government troops in the Idlib de-escalation zone, which breached a ceasefire agreement, was “initiated by the American secret services to stop the successful advance of the [Syrian] government troops to the east of Deir ez-Zor,” Head of the Main Operational Department of Russian General Staff Sergei Rudskoi said in a briefing in Moscow, Wednesday. SOT, Sergei Rudskoi, Head of Main Operational Department of Russian General Staff (Russian): “Despite the agreements signed on 15th November in Astana, Jabhat Al-Nusra militants joined by groups unwilling to comply with the terms of the ceasefire, at 8.00am [local time] (06:00am GMT) on September 19 launched a large-scale offensive on the positions of government troops to the north and northeast of Hama in the Idlib de-escalation zone. The attack was carried out with the support of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles, it was preceded by an artillery barrage. During the day, the militants managed to penetrate 12 kilometres [7.5 miles] through the government troops’ defence line and at the front up to 20 kilometres [12.4 miles]. According to current information, the attack was initiated by the American secret services to stop the successful advance of the [Syrian] government troops to the east of Deir ez-Zor. One of the main goals of the militants’ actions was an attempt to capture units of the Russian military police, amounting to 29 service personnel carrying out tasks at an observation point deployed in the area to control the de-escalation forces. In the militants’ attack, a military police platoon of 29 people was trapped and for several hours repelled the attacks of the enemy shoulder to shoulder with the Mwali tribe, which signed the agreement on joining the cessation of hostilities and remained true to it in this difficult situation. In these extreme conditions the commander of the Russian forces in Syria, General-Colonel Surovkin, formed a rescue group. It was composed of units of special operations forces, military police, joined by the military-natives of the North Caucasus and the Syrian Special Forces. The squad was headed by Deputy Head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Warring Parties and Hero of Russia, Major General Victor Shuliak. Aviation conducted strikes on the terrorists’ positions. The actions of the rescue squad were constantly supported by a pair of Sukhoi Su-25s, striking at militants and armoured vehicle militants from extremely low altitudes. As a result, the encirclement was broken and units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, without a loss, reached the area controlled by the [Syrian] government troops. During the operation, three soldiers of the Special Operations Forces were injured. All participants of this unique operation were presented with state awards. A terrorist attack was stopped and they suffered heavy losses due to the measures taken by the Russian command together with the General Staff of Syria. Air and artillery strikes destroyed 187 objects, about 850 terrorists, 11 tanks, four armoured vehicles, 46 pickups, five mortars, 20 trucks and 38 weapons warehouses were destroyed in a 24-hours period. Using the results of the fire support, units of the fifth volunteer assault corps, together with squads of government troops with the support of Russian aircraft, counterattacked and currently almost completely regained the ground lost. The operation to destroy the terrorists will be continued.” Video ID: 20170920 071 Video on Demand: http://www.ruptly.tv Contact: [email protected] Twitter: http://twitter.com/Ruptly Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/Ruptly
