THE BLACK SEA REGION of northern Turkey encompasses a mixture of miniature biomes that gives unique separation to both the culture and geography of this part of the country. Access inland from the coast is limited to a few deep and narrow valleys because of massive mountain ranges that form an almost unbroken wall separating the coast from the interior. The coastal side of the mountains are speckled with dense forests and an abundance of flora and fauna. The famous Tea Gardens of Rize and the Hagia Sophia Museum in the historical city of Trabzon are great places to spend the day. Rivers cascade through the rocky gorges of the north-facing mountains, where rafting and hiking to remote waterfalls are popular activities. The high mountain lakes and villages of the Haldizen Valley and Soganli Summit near the town of Uzungöl are quick escapes from the coast and perfect for a mountain bike ride. The peaks force the clouds to disgorge, leaving central Anatolia, on the interior side of the coastal ranges, in a permanent rain shadow desert. Here, the remote villages of Sırakonak and Yedigöller require a tolerance to winding one-way roads but provide access to cerulean desert lakes, waterfall oases, and some amazing Ottoman architecture (including the ancient Haho Monastery and Tortum Lake and Waterfall, featured in the video). In the eastern side of the Black Sea region, the Kaçkar Mountains tower to an impressive 4,000 meters. The glaciated granite range has contrasting southern slopes patched with green summer cow pastures, fruit orchards, and honey farms near the beautiful towns of Şavşat and Ayder. The high mountain lake of Karagöl and impressive valley views in Şavşat can make you feel like you're in the Alps, as fat dairy cows munch grass and produce the country's best milk and butter. The geothermal town of Ayder, which sits below the Kavrun Plateau, is the jumping-off point for trekking into the Kaçkars. The Black Sea region is a real anomaly, guaranteed to break any stereotypes you may hold about Turkey. With the short summer season ensuring the area sees few package tourists, most foreign visitors are the adventurous type who come here to get off the beaten track. Here's a taste of what you'll find. Music: Hubert Kemmler, Dietmar Kawohl Lyrics: Susanne Kemmler Produced by: Armand Volker ----------------- LYRICS ---------------- Everytime that I hear your voice I know where I belong feels like coming home and sorrow's gone. Blue, white and gold someday you'll cover me, my heart still unbroken so when will I be like Mountains and Sea I climb up high then I see the land closer to the stars eyrie of my heart - mysterious. Mauna Kea is 4,205m (shown as y) above sea level. Everest is considered to be the world's tallest mountain as its peak is the highest point above sea level on the earth's surface. Almost half of Mauna Kea is below the surface of the ocean. From base to summit Mauna Kea measures 10,200m(shown as z) which makes it taller than Everest. K2 For a few weeks every year it actually becomes taller than Mount Everest In the winter the mountain gets covered in a ridiculous amount of snow, which means that it is able to surpass its taller cousin. Chimborazo The earth is thicker around the equator than the poles. Chimborazo, an inactive Volcano in the Andes is located near the equator than Mount Everest. The summit of Chimborazo is the point on the earth's surface that is furthest away from its center. Making it the tallest mountain on earth. Olympus Mons Olympus Mons on Mars is three times taller than Mount Everest. It the largest known mountain in the solar system. Vesta In the Main Asteroid Belt between Mars and Jupiter is a large asteroid Vesta A giant mountain, three times taller than Earth's highest peak, graces the southern polar region of Vesta. The mountain is pictured in the center of this image. Mount McKinley Mount McKinley is the highest mountain peak in North America, with a summit elevation of 6,168 m above sea level. It is the largest of any mountain entirely above sea level. McKinley rises from a sloping plain with elevations from 300 to 900 m, for a base-to-peak height of 5,000 to 6,000 m. Mount Everest, on the other hand, rises from the Tibetan Plateau, which is at a much higher base elevation. Iapetus Iapetus is a satellite of Saturn. It has an equatorial ridge that runs about halfway around it and gives Iapetus a walnut-like appearance. The ridge is about 1,300 km long, 20 km wide, 13 km high. Peaks in the ridge rise more than 20 km above the surrounding plains. Content source: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1c0CU_QLj4JgyeT3nRgcswV6yTZVIJCl9dWSlOW06HCM/edit?usp=sharing

Amazing Ice Mountains Collapse The glacier, which is about 200 square kilometres, is located in the Andes mountains, the natural border between Argentina and Chile. One of Argentina's great tourist attractions, it is 60 metres high, as tall as a 20-storey building, and gets its name from the explorer Francisco Moreno (1852-1919). Ice sheets flow downhill, seemingly in slow motion. Mountains funnel the ice into glaciers. And ice flowing from the land into the sea can form a floating ice shelf. __ THANKS FOR WATCHING! Meet the top 10 biggest and most dangerous volcanoes in the world. Here the summary of the list -Mauna Loa, Hawaii And, evidently, if we want to talk about volcanoes we can’t stop mentioning Hawaii, and it’s because Mauna Loa, which in Hawaiian means “large mountain”, is one of the five volcanoes that conform it. -Tamu Massif Unlike most of the volcanoes in this top, this is located under the Pacific Ocean at the east of Japan, it’s worth mentioning it has a height of 14620 feet tall and it’s considered as the biggest volcano ever discovered. -Black Mountain, México Returning to the ground, in Puebla, Mexico, we find another volcano with more than 15026 feet above the sea level. -Nevado del Ruiz, Colombia Getting closer to the first place, we encounter a volcano placed in the center of Colombia, at a height of 17457 feet above the sea level. One of its characteristics is its geological formation, which is covered mostly by glacier. -Ojos del Salado, Chile - Argentina And in the first place, we find the heights volcano reaching 22910 feet above the sea level, measurement that qualifies it not only as the highest volcano in the world but also as the second highest summit of the whole occident. -Mount Mazama Oregon, USA To start this top, we have to warn you about this volcano’s dimensions, which are unimaginable. It has 8156 feet in height, this volcano is not so visible because the main attraction from this area is the beautiful landscape which has big lake. -Paricutín, México This volcano is placed in Michoacan, Mexico and it’s considered as one of the World’s natural wonders, also it’s known as the youngest from the American continent because it was formed in 1943. -Mount Tambora, Indonesia This volcano is placed in Sumbawa, Indonesia and reaches 9350 feet above the sea levels. Besides its height, this huge wonder has the title for the biggest volcanic eruption ever registered. -Mount Etna, Sicilia, Italia Now, we go straight to Sicilia, Italy, to meet this amazing volcano that reaches a height of 10925 feet above the sea level, characteristic that makes this the highest active volcano all around the Eurasian plaque. -Ichinsky, Russia Situated in one of the coldest countries, we find this enormous geographic construction. It’s obviously located in Russia, to the far east of the Kamchatka’s peninsula to be exact. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- About Us: Trend Max is an education and entertainment channel dedicated to creating interesting Tops, Lists and more. Check out these top unexplained mysteries of the deep ocean. From strange sounds captured in the deep sea by hydrophones such as the bloop, the train, and julia, to gigantic whirlpools, biggest underwater falls and the milky bioluminescent sea phenomenon. Underwater Falls Voted one of the most beautiful places on Earth, Mauritius is an island nation in the Indian Ocean. On the Southwestern tip of the island you will find a fascinating illusion. When viewed from above, a runoff of sand and silt deposits creates the impression of an ‘underwater waterfall’. But did you know there are actually real underwater waterfalls? Seven waterfalls have been discovered deep underwater. The tallest waterfall on Earth is not Angel Falls, but an underwater waterfall called Denmark Strait Cataract located in the Atlantic ocean between Greenland and Iceland. It is the world's highest underwater waterfall, with water falling almost 11,500 feet and carries 175 million cubic feet of water per second. It is caused due to temperature differences in the water on either side of the strait. Cold water is denser than warm water. And the eastern side of the strait is a lot colder than the western side. So when the waters meet, the cold water sinks below the warmer water, creating a strong downward flow, which is considered a waterfall. And it's not just waterfalls that are under the ocean. There are huge secret rivers, complete with rapids and islands that flow down the sea shelves out into the desert plains creating river banks and flood plains. Here's a picture of the river Cenote Angelita under the sea of Mexico. These salty rivers carry sediments and minerals and could be vital in sustaining life. The world's sixth largest river, by volume, is below the Black Sea. It is 350 times larger than the Thames and 150 feet deep in places. 8. Milky Sea Phenomenon For over 400 years, sailors told tales of a mysterious event that takes place far out in the Indian Ocean. They would come across miles and miles of milky glowing waters, sometimes stretching as far as the eye could see. In 2005, a group of scientists led by Dr. Steven Miller of the Naval Research Laboratory in Monterey, Calif., decided to take a closer look at this story to see if it was true. They managed to register about 235 observations and get a satellite image that showed an area of low lighting in the Indian Ocean about the size of Connecticut. Their samples that they collected indicated the presence of a type of bioluminescent bacteria in the water, known as Vibrio harveyi. This isn't the same kind of bacteria that you might see in waves that use their bright light to ward off predators. This bioluminescent bacteria may actually use light to attract fish, since its favorite place to live is inside a fish's gut. Scientists' guess is that since they only emit a very faint light on their own, they have to gather together to make an impact. Their collective glow can grow to massive, milky sea proportions when their numbers swell to a huge amount -- think 40 billion trillion. They may also congregate to colonize algae. Sounds like a party! It is still only a guess since Dr. Miller and his colleagues haven't determined exactly what causes the bacteria to gather. 7. Unexplained sounds Of course dark, creepy fog can make you jump at anything that goes bump in the night. But what about things that go "bloop" in the sea? With names like "The Bloop," "Train" and "Julia," the sounds have been captured by hydrophones, or underwater microphones, monitored by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The decidedly nonspooky nicknames for these sounds do little to dispel the mystery surrounding them. In 1997, NOAA hydrophones 3,000 miles apart picked up one of the loudest sounds ever recorded off the southern coast of South America: the Bloop (which sounds exactly like its name, a bloop). The Bloop mimics marine animal sounds in some ways, but if it were some kind of sea creature it would have to be almost the size of the Eiffel tower for that sound to be heard from 3,000 miles away. So what made the sound? It's anyone's guess but deep-sea monsters aside, NOAA holds the most likely explanation for The Bloop is that it was the sound of a large iceberg fracturing. Sure.... Another weird noise known as Julia sounds almost like someone whining or maybe even singing under water. The eastern equatorial Pacific autonomous array (the fancy name for the network of hydrophones) picked up this strange sound that lasted 15 seconds in 1999.

This production was written, recorded and filmed over 5 days in March 2015 in the community of Eden - on the South Coast of NSW (Yuin and Monaro country) as part of a Desert Pea Media (DPM) project. www.desertpeamedia.com The project came about through a partnership between DPM, The Smugglers of Light Foundation, UN Ltd, APRA and Eden Marine High School. The fantastic staff at Eden Marine High School made contact with Ossie Cruse, a local elder, storyteller and cultural leader. Ossie worked with the team - teaching the participants about language, culture and heritage. This information was then directed into a narrative structure by local young people and Desert Pea Media staff. With the musical direction of DPM guru Joel 'Roc West' Westlake and the rest of the creative team, we then turned the narrative into this awesome song, which we filmed immediately on location. Taiwan－Where Mountains Meet Sea High mountains capture essences of heaven and earth, the great ocean welcomes a hundred mighty rivers. OS: In the western Pacific, off the eastern edge of the Asian continent, lies a beautiful island surrounded by blue waters. It has an area of 36,000 sq. km and a subtropical climate. With average annual temperatures of 20 to 25 degrees Celsius, it enjoys ample precipitation and warm weather. The people of this island number 23 million. They are hard-working, warm and hospitable. OS: Thanks to joint efforts of the government and the people, average per capita income now exceeds US$16,000. Not only is this country an important trading nation, but it is also a major source of international investment. The country we are speaking of is the Republic of China (Taiwan). OS: With its accession to the World Trade Organization in 2002, Taiwan gained a level playing field in trade with other nations, consolidating its role as an active part of the global economy, while forging closer relations with other nations. OS: In the 1980s, the people's pursuit of freedom, democracy and human rights led to major political reforms. OS: Martial law was lifted in 1987. Two years later, barriers to forming new political parties were removed, putting the ROC on the track toward multiparty politics. In 1992, a new Legislature was elected, and in 1996, Taiwan's democracy advanced further when voters went to the polls for the nation's first direct election of the president and vice president. The spirit of rule by the people had been realized. OS: One vibrant celebration after another ensures a festive mood in Taiwan throughout the year. These festivals offer firsthand experiences of a cultural flair and a philosophy of life that are unique to Taiwan. OS: Taiwan's cuisine makes the mouth water. From local snacks and delicacies to international haute cuisine, every taste is catered to. OS: Religions coexist in harmony in the ROC, and every individual enjoys complete religious freedom. The rich variety of practices and beliefs adds color to the lives of the people. OS: A string of large-scale infrastructure projects have been completed that connect the entire island. The high-speed rail and Taipei-Ilan expressway, for example, have cut travel times dramatically. Such projects raise the quality of life on Taiwan and help promote the island as an international tourist destination. OS: When Portuguese sailors saw the shores of Taiwan 400 years ago, they exclaimed with delight, "Ilha Formosa!" or "beautiful island." Today, Taiwan is a paradise for ecologists. With its varied topography of high-, mid- and low-altitude terrain, Taiwan is blessed with scenic beauty and a great diversity of flora and fauna. Legislation has been passed to ensure wildlife protection and ecological preservation, and Taiwan now has seven national parks and 13 national scenic areas. Visitors to Taiwan can experience the beauty of lush mountain forests by taking a ride on Mt. Ali's alpine railway, one of only three in the world. Or they can put on a pair of hiking boots and take in the staggering views from the top of Mt. Jade, Northeast Asia's highest peak. Taiwan's renowned Sun Moon Lake offers natural beauty guaranteed to ease the burdened spirit. OS: The people of Taiwan feel the hunger and suffering of others as their own. The ROC is an active participant in international organizations and abides by international agreements. It also devotes resources to humanitarian and relief efforts, and has been lauded for these contributions to the international community. OS: In Taiwan, we believe that regional peace and prosperity are vital for the stability of the world at large. We, therefore, participate widely in regional development initiatives in the Asia-Pacific to build a more free, democratic, peaceful and prosperous community. OS: The people of Taiwan are warm, friendly, and full of vitality. Having reaped the benefits of universal education, economic prosperity, and a free and democratic way of life, they look to the future with confidence and hope. In working to bring about sustainable development, everything we do is to serve the people: we strive to nurture the individual and raise the quality of life for the entire nation. OS: So long as there are mountains to climb and seas to sail, we will keep pursuing our dreams, as we share Taiwan's bounty of treasures with the rest of the world. OS: The people of Taiwan welcome you to their beautiful island. Welcome to Taiwan!

Sunset Time Lapse Compilation over the Sea Ocean Water Lake Mountains City 1080p HD Video with Music “The Angels Weep” – Soundtrack comes from http://audionautix.com/ Time-lapse photography is a specialist technique whereby the frequency at which film frames are captured (knows as the frame rate) is very much lower than that used to actually view the sequence. When played at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster and therefore lapsing. For example, an image of a scene may be captured once every second, then played back at 30 frames per second. The result is an apparent 30-times speed increase. Time-lapse photography can then be regarded as the opposite of high speed photography or slow motion. Processes that would normally appear subtle to the human eye, e.g. the motion of the sun, stars in the sky, or in this case the movement of clouds, become very pronounced. In Social Media applications the use of innovative and short video clips in Twitter and Facebook for example, adds a high level of 'sticky content' and when combined with YouTube increases website traffic.

World's Highest Mountains, Highest Mountain Peaks of the World List of highest mountains Mount Everest, also known in Nepal as Sagarmāthā and in Tibet as Chomolungma, is Earth's highest mountain. It is located in the Mahalangur mountain range in Nepal and Tibet. Its peak is 8,848 metres (29,029 ft) above sea level. The international border between China (Tibet Autonomous Region) and Nepal runs across Everest's precise summit point. Its massif includes neighbouring peaks Lhotse, 8,516 m (27,940 ft); Nuptse, 7,855 m (25,771 ft) and Changtse, 7,580 m (24,870 ft). K2, also known as Mount Godwin-Austen, and Chhogori (چھوغوری) Balti, is the second highest mountain in the world, after Mount Everest, at 8,611 metres (28,251 ft) above sea level. It is located on the China-Pakistan border between Baltistan, in the Gilgit–Baltistan region of northern Pakistan, and the Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County of Xinjiang, China. K2 is the highest point of the Karakoram range and the highest point in both Pakistan and Xinjiang. Kangchenjunga कंचनजंघा sometimes spelled Kanchenjunga, is the third highest mountain in the world, and lies partly in Nepal and partly in Sikkim, India. It rises with an elevation of 8,586 m (28,169 ft) in a section of the Himalayas called Kangchenjunga Himal that is limited in the west by the Tamur River, in the north by the Lhonak Chu and Jongsang La, and in the east by the Teesta River. Annapurna अन्नपूर्ण is a massif in the Himalayas in north-central Nepal that includes one peak over 8,000 metres (26,000 ft), thirteen peaks over 7,000 metres (23,000 ft), and sixteen more over 6,000 metres (20,000 ft). The massif is 55 kilometres (34 mi) long, and is bounded by the Kali Gandaki Gorge on the west, the Marshyangdi River on the north and east, and by Pokhara Valley on the south. At the western end the massif encloses a high basin called the Annapurna Sanctuary. Annapurna I Main is the tenth highest mountain in the world at 8,091 metres (26,545 ft) above sea level. Manaslu मनास्लु, also known as Kutang) is the eighth highest mountain in the world at 8,163 metres (26,781 ft) above sea level. It is located in the Mansiri Himal, part of the Nepalese Himalayas, in the west-central part of Nepal. Its name, which means "mountain of the spirit", comes from the Sanskrit word manasa, meaning "intellect" or "soul". Manaslu was first climbed on May 9, 1956 by Toshio Imanishi and Gyalzen Norbu, members of a Japanese expedition. It is said that "just as the British consider Everest their mountain, Manaslu has always been a Japanese mountain". The Dhaulagiri massif in Nepal extends 120 km (70 mi) from the Kaligandaki River west to the Bheri. This massif is bounded on the north and southwest by tributaries of the Bheri River and on the southeast by Myagdi Khola. Dhaulagiri I is the seventh highest mountain in the world at 8,167 metres (26,795 ft) above sea level. It was first climbed on May 13, 1960 by a Swiss/Austrian/Nepali expedition. Makalu मकालु is the fifth highest mountain in the world at 8,485 metres (27,838 ft). It is located in the Mahalangur Himalayas 19 km (12 mi) southeast of Mount Everest, on the border between Nepal and China. One of the eight-thousanders, Makalu is an isolated peak whose shape is a four-sided pyramid. Lhotse ल्होत्से is the fourth highest mountain in the world at 8,516 metres (27,940 ft), after Mount Everest, K2, and Kangchenjunga. Part of the Everest massif, Lhotse is connected to the latter peak via the South Col. Lhotse means “South Peak” in Tibetan. Sunrise Time Lapse Compilation over the Mountains Sea Ocean City Desert Tree and Forest in 1080p HD Video with Music “Before Dawn” – Soundtrack comes from http://audionautix.com/ Time-lapse photography is a specialist technique whereby the frequency at which film frames are captured (knows as the frame rate) is very much lower than that used to actually view the sequence.

This video follows a flight in a Cirrus SR22T from Bend, Oregon to Florence Oregon, Cascade Mountains to the Oregon Coast. It was done on a beautiful fall late afternoon. Although I filed this flight as an Instrumnet Flight Rules IFR flight, the day was CAVU, Clear And Vizibility Unlimited. Great footage from 3 external cameras and 2 internal cameras with full audio. The music track at the end is my wife's cover of the Coldplay track, 'Sky Full of Stars'. Enjoy!

The Drina River House You’ve always wanted a house surrounded by a moat, right? Everyone has!! But how about taking it a step further and building your home in the middle of a river? Well, that’s what a group of boys decided to do in 1968 when they were looking for the ideal spot to sunbathe. 9. Casa Do Penedo The Casa Do Penedo, which means the house of stone, is in the Fafe mountains of northern Portugal. The 16.5-foot-tall house, built at 2,600 feet above sea level, is often referred to as the ‘Flintstones House’, and it’s clear to see why. 8. The Crystal Mill The Crystal Mill is one of the most famous, and isolated, homes in Colorado. It was built on a rocky outcrop in the Crystal river, and is surrounded by the most amazing views! It’s about 6 miles away from Marble, and is close to the former town of Crystal. 7. Katskhi Pillar How far would you go for your beliefs? Religious devotion can lead people to make big sacrifices for their faith, but one monk has taken the idea of isolation to a whole new level. Maxime Qavtaradze has spent the past 20 years living in a cottage on the Katskhi Pillar- a 131-foot-tall rock that stands above his monastery in Georgia. 6. Wordie House If you like the cold, and staying indoors for most of the year, then maybe this is the place for you. Wordie House is one of the most remote buildings on the planet- located on Winter Island in Antarctica. 5. Long Studio The Long Studio, on Fogo Island in Newfoundland, Canada, was built to give artists a secluded space to work. The modern structure has been built on a series of stilts to raise it above the ground- which makes it feel as if it’s hovering over the landscape. 4. The Solvay Hut Located on the north eastern ridge of the Matterhorn mountain in Switzerland, the Solvay Hut is the highest mountain hut owned by the Swiss Alpine Club, at 13,133 feet above sea level. 3. Ellidaey Island If you really want an isolated home, and an entire island to go with it- then how about Ellidaey island in Iceland? It’s a part of the Vestmannaeyjar archipelago to the south of the country, and there’s quite a mystery to the place. 2. San Colombano Hermitage First built in 1319, the San Colombano hermitage was named after the Irish Saint Colomban who, according to legend, took up residence in the cave after vanquishing the dragon that originally lived there. A small church was then built at the entrance to one of the small caves to provide accommodation for pilgrims and monks. 1. Just Room Enough Island Just room enough island is, as the name would suggest, a small piece of land that is just room enough for a house, and barely anything else! It’s one of the almost 2,000 islands of the Thousand Islands chain on the New York side of the St Lawrence River, and is the location of one of the most famous isolated homes in the region. You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains; You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas; I am strong, when I am on your shoulders; You raise me up... To more than I can be. You raise me up, so I can stand on mountains; You raise me up, to walk on stormy seas; I am strong, when I am on your shoulders; You raise me up... To more than I can be. There is no life - no life without its hunger; Each restless heart beats so imperfectly; But when you come and I am filled with wonder, Sometimes, I think I glimpse eternity. You raise me up... To more than I can be.

The sky went pitch black and the pressing heat was almost unbearable, while the crickets pumped up the volume of their choir. In the distance we could see the flashing of the lightning and already hear and feel the pressure waves of the heavy thunder approaching. We could only pray that the tent would hold up and give us it's false sense of safety... The microphones were all set to capture all this natural greatness, so we pressed record, mumbled a ejaculatory prayer, laid down on our camping beds and closed our eyes...the storm was coming! This field recording is looped to twelve hours so you can use to sleep in the thunder tent for an entire night! Perfect to battle insomnia or just to read a book to. If you've ever been out in a tent while a thunderstorm was overhead, you might have a nice trip down memory lane :) Leave a comment below and tell us what you think! Thanks and enjoy!
