The Serenade of the Seas set out on her maiden voyage on 10 March 2001. It is one of the four ships in Royal Caribbean's Radiance Class. 2501 passengers can expect a wide variety of entertainment and recreational opportunities across 13 decks.
On board is a great selection of cabins. Sofa, flat screen TV, bathroom with tub - that and much more can be found in the suites. The outside and inside cabins are, however, somewhat simpler.
On the pool deck at the rear of the ship passengers can climb on the high seas with the whole family! Shoes, helmets and safety harnesses are available on site. Being 60 meters above sea on the climbing wall, guarantees a fantastic view. Those who want to do something a bit more relaxing can get comfortable on a lounger under the sun, or enjoy what's offer at the Vitality Spa.
This rest area on deck 11 is reserved for adults. The tanning beds, hot tubs and pools are located within a large glass dome, so that passengers can relax here in any weather.
Directly next door is the gym. In the modern work out area is all the equipment needed to keep in shape whilst on holiday. Classes, such as Pilates and kickboxing, are available for those who prefer to stay active in a group. Additionally, there is the opportunity to play volleyball and basketball.
Following the many adventures of the day, the time will eventually come, when passengers need to refuel. Try the steak restaurant Chops Grill and the Italian specialty restaurant, Portofino. It's recommended that guests book a table in time as these restaurants are very popular.
In the evenings there are several options to have fun on board. Under no circumstances should the performances in the theatre be missed. With outstanding stars and singers, passengers would be forgiven for thinking they were on Broadway.
Be enchanted and enjoy a fantastic holiday on the Serenade of the Seas!
