This reminds me of a story I heard about a girl who had cancer so the chemo was making her lose a lot of weight and people were actually congratulating her on losing weight and she directly said “but I’m DYING. I have CANCER” and all they said was at least she looked great (even tho she was actually becoming too underweight). So sad
"Be angular and hard but be soft and be seductive but innocent. And I'm like whoa I can't be all these things at once". I think that's what best represent being a woman. People expect you to be sweet but determined to make your situation better, a loving mom that still wants to make a career. And if you are too much of one thing you're fake or trying too hard and if you let it get to you it can be really stressful.
this is a very nicely articulated video, nice job guys. i must say it shows just how sick women are in regards to their own image. i myself like a natural woman, the slight inperfections for lack of a better word are sexy.
This goes back way beyond just the pinup era. How many women shaped and molded their bodies into ridiculous corsets to achieve unrealistic figures? This has been something women have been dealing with since the beginning of time.
