So Shawn, is there any use of the width property at all? The width property is appropriate for the normal screen (ex laptop) but is not compatible for phones, etc. So is max-width preferred in all circumstances or no?

in a nutshell: max-width: can't go higher but smaller min-width: can't go smaller but higher :same with height:
