CSS Tutorial 2 - Selectors (Element Selectors)

41 ratings | 4121 views
In this tutorial, we talk about how to actually use CSS to change the look and style of elements within our HTML webpages, which we can do using selectors. In particular, this video talks about how to use the "element selector" in CSS, what is is, and what it is useful for. The element selector is useful for when you would like to select and style every element of a particular type on a webpage. For example, if you would like to style every paragraph element on a website, you could create a CSS rule for the paragraph element, and then style it however you like. Doing so would change the look of every paragraph element on the webpage where the CSS is being used or included. If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, please feel free to contact me! +Tech Bolt I'm not sure what that video would include? Do you have any ideas as to what you would be interested in seeing? Nonetheless, you can improve your typing speed by using good form and getting lots and lots of practice! Like with anything, practice makes perfect! :)

Hey just wondering what software you would suggest for for "designing" stuff for websites. For example at school years ago we used dream weaver to make buttons for a website. Obviously now im looking to learn to a proffesional level and wondered what you would suggest. Please bare in mind im a poor ass teenager, with access to piratebay ;)
