I love your work! It's so awesome. How do you know where to put the shadows? 🤔
Christopher Hart (1 month ago)
Shadows are a direct response to a light source. In other words, if light hits a face from the left, then a shadow will be cast be the bridge of the nose on the right.

if I'm not mistaken. you use a kind of "Sharpy felt pen" for black colour. But, for the other colours , the body or the hair on this drawing , what are the felt pens?? kind regards from Paris!
Georges FOTIC (11 months ago)
very interesting once again. very instructive to draw a cute fenale face step by step. congrats!
Georges FOTIC (11 months ago)
in fact, it is possible now. Because, there is a place in Paris known by the tourists near the "Opera". In this place there are Japanese people and restaurants and also corean restaurants. So, you can find very tasteful sushis. And nice "ramens". It is nice (but, I prefer italian food..)
Christopher Hart (11 months ago)
Thanks. I know you're from Paris. here's a funny story. My family and I visited many years ago. We stopped into a cafe. There were all sorts of Parisian dishes on the menu - and surprisingly, a sushi item. I don't know why, but I ordered the sushi. And it was the best sushi I ever had! Who would have thought?

What paper do you use? Is it the same paper you use for all your other videos? I’ve been watching some of your “beginner manga” videos and the paper seems so smooth.
KlassyKylieBeauty (1 year ago)
Christopher Hart I understand that but, what paper brand is it and weight?
Christopher Hart (1 year ago)
Yes, for me, the most important thing is that the paper fit the dimensions of my scanner, and that it's thin enough to become translucent on a light pad.
KatEternity 2 (1 year ago)

Another awesome tutorial in the series.. Thanks.. Could you please tell me the marker you used? (black outline and the color markers)
KatEternity 2 (1 year ago)
Anand Jeyapal they’re prisma color markers and a sharpie over a blue color pencil. I know because i used to use them a long time ago when i first started. I switched to copics.
Christopher Hart (1 year ago)
Thanks. I have so many supplies that I don't recall which ones I used for that video.
