I don't like the negative space between the squares and the rectangles. IMO it would look better if it was the same as in the space between the horizontal squares (it looks like a screw up (personal opinion obviously). Also, a bunch of blocks is not very dynamic (energy is fluid to me). You should have one dynamic element in there - I would have used the diamond shape for something more dynamic and interesting. Then again, I'm not a logo designer, so I'm just talking out of my ass.
I do enjoy your videos though! Thanks!
Hello, Good day To all.....I am no designer, I'm more of an IT dude..... I am opening a business, obviously IT related and I do want a logo. the name of the company is Bantu Systems. I want my logo to have a image/icon/shield that has something techy mixed with an African tribal man or intrument. I was thinking maybe an African tribal man with a tablet, smarphone or pc with codes on one of his hands with a spear or something on another hand. something like that....Anyone willing to materialize my wish, for FREE?????..............
I have subscribed to your YouTube channel. I disagree about Squarespace, however. I think Wordpress combined with a cheap name host is just as good for most people, and a much better value considering how many free designs exist. But I'm willing to be proven wrong...
So the idea is to get out as much as you can *Draws a bunch of E's* I'm sorry dude, but I highly doubt this process of going straight to the sketching would be efficient. Maybe if you got lucky, but I'd recommend to a lot of designers to do some further research on the company and its consumers, and do some more brainstorming prior to sketching down the first letter of the company.
I enjoy a lot your awesome videos. And I would like to see more of the furthermore process until the end of the final Result. You showed only the half process here. Can we see a video with the full process? Might that will take an hour maybe?
How can you be such a a talented designer and draw making those "hairy" lines with your pencil??? :( Don't!! Just allow your hand to do it's thing, embrace shaky lines or practice your straight lines. The quality of those sketches goes right to the bottom because of their "hairy" quality :'(
I am a complete amateur icon designer (I’m a BI analyst and reporting content manager). I’ve been using PowerPoint (*hangs his head in shame*) since 2010 to create icons for SharePoint and Confluence sites to access reporting assets. I really enjoyed watching your creative process! I subscribed to your channel so I’ll be back to check out more of your videos. Thanks for sharing!
