What code do I use to move  the margin of my site from the edges of the computer without messing up the post layout/menu/carousel slider (on home page) ?
Angela Litterio (1 year ago)
I need to indent my blog content on the opening page. The Pipdig theme didn't do that for me. (if you view the MARYLINE theme on their site, you'll see centered posts in example 1.) My posts run to the edge of the computer. How do I move the edge closer to the center? Or leave a white space between the computer and the posts? Thanks!

too complex for me I am a MALE after all I gunna have to find a woman that knows how to make websites and MARRY her. Hmm, that doesn't mean she'll fix my website huh. Kindda like how I thought when I married a Filipina caregiver that is 22 years younger than me. She does nothing for me at all - she said PAY ME and I will help you.... oh well.. On my website my text look like this, it all looks like this So when I type my text looks like this Nice and clean with no huge spaces in-between my my words. And now when I press ENTER I have this HUGE SPACE everytime I press ENTER I have this HUGE SPACE is driving me nutz

Hi, thx a lot for this video is very helpful, and I do have a question... there is a space that according to your explanation can be identified as margin that I want to remove from the site that I starting to create using WP and Betheme. Tthe space is just below the slider and above the header because the header is the Below Slider one (located at the bottom), but I am not sure of what css to use so I can solve this. Can you help me?. I am just a beginer. I would appreciate it.

I'm also an HTML newbie and I happened across this vid. when I was trying to understand a prob I had embedding a video and wrapping text around it. The problem was this: The video was aligned-right with text wrapped on the LHS and below. I could get the text to wrap fine, but using the "margin" cmd, the text butted up right against the LHS of the video no matter how large I made the LHS margin number. Poking around the internet I just stumbled on "padding" so I tried that on a whim, and it worked immediately. I've watched your video and another on the topic of margin vs. padding but I still don't understand why using "padding" added the space I wanted between the video an the text, but "margin" did not. Do you have any insight on this curious outcome?
