The flights of icarus is a 1977 various artists art book compilation of science fiction pictures, fantasy and surrealism. Book by Donald Lehmkuhl, Roger Dean and others... Many of these photos have been used by heavy metal magazine and many groups of the era.
01. Nazareth - Beggars Day Rose In The Heather (1975)
02. Led Zeppelin - Hats Off To (Roy) Harper (1970)
03. Black Sabbath - Orchid (1971)
04. Taste - Bron On The Wrong Side Of Time (1969)

+Sifu Alain This book is amazing! My older brother had a copy back in the early 80's and I was fascinated by the wonderful artworks. Sadly though his copy is long gone. I never remembered the name of the book and have been searching the internet on and off for years using nothing but the names of a couple of the artists that I knew were in there; Goodfellow and Pennington. Today I found out the title!!! I am overjoyed! I immediately bought a copy on ebay. Your best chances for a copy are secondhand on Amazon or ebay :)
