Yea, i was planning on some greenery in the house, perhaps even some flowers and other cute things.Likely, very likely add flowers. Colors would be... was thinking of purple, pink and either green, orange or blue.
Also measure : DOORWAYS; HALLS; spaces between windows; etc. I bought a gorgeous antique French farmhouse table to use as my desk. I could NOT get it to turn a corner to go down the hall to my den. Movers wanted to remove legs! OUCH! Had to return... sigh....
I think boho is about having peaces that you love and that mean something to you as well as being creative and out of the box with maybe second hand/vintage/self made peaces and that's why in my opinion shopping like that at a mainstream store like this doesn't fit and makes it kinda like a "fake" or cheap boho.
Hi! I am new to your channel and wondering where you shop because the places you go in this video as well as your farmhouse style one look amazing. Not sure where you're located but I'm in Los Angeles; any recommendations?
Based on your first video on how to identify your style, I feel like I'm in a mix of 3 styles. Boho, contemporary and coastal. Is there a name for that combination or am I just a mix of those 3? Lol thanks for sharing these videos! Definitely learning lots of interior design tips and basics thanks to you and your videos ☺
Great advice. I am a subscriber. I always enjoy your vids. I love the small tape measurer....one time I purchased a love seat and sofa from a vintage store, but did not measure the bedroom doors as the sofa was to go into a bedroom...loveseat was for the living room. Being that it was a 1950's home, I had absolutely no idea that the bedroom doors and entry ways were sooo, errrr, small, diminuative. So I gave the loveseat to a neighbor and the sofa stayed in the living room...but not as intended. What a waste. Measure, measure, measure or else you will be stuck with things that you cannot use....measure your doors and room that the pieces will go in prior to shopping. Boho, artsy and mixed, I am, I am!
